The Almira/Coulee-Hartline Diamond Ducks lost 8-3 to the Milton Freewater Twins in the first round of the Tillage League postseason tournament on Thursday.
Diamond Ducks Head Coach Hunter Lee called the game "a really good game" and noted it was "a lot closer than what the final score indicates." The Twins scored three runs in the first inning, but ACH responded with two runs in the bottom of the first. The score was 3-2 after three innings before Milton added a run in the third. ACH closed to within one run in the fourth inning.
Eli Edwards started for ACH, allowing four runs in four innings. Ethan Martinez and Levi Oliver pitched in relief. The Diamond Ducks will face the Monarch Baseball Club at 10 a.m. Friday in the consolation bracket.
