Four Killed in Moses Lake Intersection Crash

Four members of a Tacoma family were killed and one critically injured when a 2018 Honda Civic entered an intersection and collided with a tractor-trailer at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday near Royal City, according to Grant County Sheriff's Office public information officer Kyle Foreman. The victims were identified as Martin Tran, 34; Joseph Tran, 69; Theresa Tran, 66; and Thomas Tran, 39, all pronounced dead at the scene. Michael Tran, age not given, was critically injured and airlifted to a Tri-Cities hospital. The truck driver, Felipe Avalos, 68, and two passengers sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
