I-405 will have overnight closures on southbound lanes from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast from 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3 to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4. Additionally, northbound I-405 will close up to three lanes from the Northeast 85th Street on-ramp to Northeast 100th Street from 11 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 to 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 31.
State Route 20 will alternate traffic with flaggers from Swin Slough Bridge (milepost 50) to Laconner Whitney Road/Bay View Road (milepost 53) daily except weekends beginning Aug. 21 until further notice. SR 4 will have single-lane closures weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. between 50th Avenue (milepost 56.4) and 42nd Avenue (milepost 57.2) through Sept. 11 for gas line work.
Residents should plan for traffic delays during these construction periods. WSDOT will provide detour information for the I-405 closures. The fish passage construction on I-5 near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) will reduce lanes nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Sept. 10.
