🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Moses Lake's Columbia Basin Technical Skills Center (CBTECH) has rebranded its Flight Technology program to Aviation Pathways and partnered with The Museum of Flight for a new aviation careers program. The rebranding recognizes the partnership and reflects new program directions. The program, now seeking enrollment for 2026-2027, offers one to two years of training in aviation fields including piloting, drone operations, air traffic control, and airport management. A local FAA-certified flight instructor will assist with Private Pilot Ground School. CBTECH Director Chad Utter stated the partnership aims to provide students with skills and industry connections for high-demand aviation careers in the region, which includes aerospace companies like Boeing.
