Starting Thursday night, Sept. 3, up to two lanes of southbound I-405 will close from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway Southeast until 5 a.m. Friday. This follows a recent northbound I-405 closure from Aug. 28 to 31.
WSDOT says the I-5 fish passage project near Alger/Lake Samish Road (exit 240) will reduce lanes nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Sept. 4. Meanwhile, SR 20 traffic will alternate with flaggers daily from Swin Slough Bridge to Laconner Whitney Road for city utility work until further notice.
The I-5 left lane northbound will also close nightly near North Lake Samish (exit 246) until Sept. 4. WSDOT advises drivers to expect delays and follow flagger instructions.
