πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Moses Lake School Board Vice Chair Paul Hill resigned effective Sept. 17, 2026, after five years on the board, citing plans to move to Idaho with his family. Hill said he and his wife will sell their home before relocating to be closer to their children.

Hill, elected in 2021 during a financial crisis for the district, praised the board and staff for stabilizing the district after budget cuts and leadership challenges. Board President Kirryn Jensen and other members thanked Hill for his service, noting his role in the district's recovery. The board will begin filling the vacancy after Hill's resignation takes effect.

Hill plans to remain involved in district advisory committees for three to four months, including facilities and financial committees, but will step back from board duties.
