Shooting near Moses Lake roads prompts police search

Moses Lake Police Department executed a search warrant at 1701 Crouse Street near Gibby Road on Thursday after a shooting was reported Wednesday night near South Gibby Road and West Fern Drive.

A 17-year-old male from Moses Lake arrived at Samaritan Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg, according to Captain Jeff Sursely. The department stated the Tactical Response Team conducted the search due to potential gang involvement and to locate firearms.
