Single-lane closures and 9-foot width restrictions will take effect on the Vantage Bridge starting Oct. 26, 2025, at 6 p.m., according to Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) records.
Eastbound traffic will face width restrictions beginning at I-82 Exit 110 near Ellensburg, while westbound traffic will encounter the same restrictions at SR 281 Exit 149 near George. The closures will operate 24 hours a day until further notice, with reduced speeds enforced throughout the affected area.
WSDOT's notice indicates the restrictions are part of ongoing bridge maintenance work. Drivers should plan for potential delays and adjust travel times accordingly, as the Vantage Bridge is a key route between Moses Lake and the Yakima Valley.
