Prices in Grant County followed a similar pattern, rising from $3.79 in January to $5.60 in May before easing to $5.00 by July 27. Adams County saw a nearly identical trajectory, with prices climbing from $3.85 to $5.51 in May before settling at $5.03 in late July. Despite the decline, Washington drivers continue to pay about $1 more per gallon than the national average of $4.11.
